Preserving Memories, Capturing Legacies:
We all have family members with a lifetime of stories worth preserving. Legacy Films and Preservation records those stories and crafts them into films with the care and quality of a PBS documentary — something your family can treasure, share, and revisit for years to come.
What we do:
-
Personal documentary films featuring in-depth, on-camera interviews
-
Visual storytelling using family photos, home movies, documents, and keepsakes
-
Films for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, retirements, and memorials
-
Story-driven videos for businesses and nonprofits to share their history and values
How it works:
-
Free consultation – We talk about the person you’d like to honor, the occasion, and what you’re hoping this film will mean to your family.
-
Pre-interview & planning – You complete a short questionnaire, and I work with you to shape the story and gather photos, films, and other materials.
-
Filming day – I conduct a relaxed, guided interview — no acting required, just conversation.
-
Editing & storytelling – I weave together the interview, visuals, and music into a documentary-style film.
-
Delivery & sharing – You receive a high-quality digital master and copies you can easily share with family.
Legacy Films and Preservation is based in New Orleans, but we can travel for projects and/or conduct the interviews remotely over Zoom.
